Hi! My name is Alisha and I've been baking my entire life. I have been told on multiple occasions that I should start a bakery, but hat idea TERRIFIED me. I mean, the thought of selling baked goods to be judged by everyone was scary. Especially with no formal training in baking or business. Who was I to start something like that?

Fast forward to 2020, we moved back to Kingston from Mississauga so that I could help my parents expand their business and Covid hits. The part of their business that I was going to take over closes down and I'm unemployed with two kids and depressed for the first time in my life.

3 months later, June 2020, I figured I literally had nothing to lose if I started the bakery now. I had no more excuses or I'm too busies, no more i'm not good enoughs, or I don't know what i'm doing, and I think that was the kick in the ass I needed to stop over-thinking and just do it. So as difficult of a time as that was, something amazing came out of it and guess what?! I have received an insane amount of community support in this venture and I am SO glad that I took the leap. Here. Now. Exactly when I needed to.
